David Guess is serving his fourth term as City Commissioner. He served from January 2003 through December 2006 and was elected to his third term in November 2020 and to his fourth term in November 2022.
As a lifelong resident of Paducah, a 1982 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, small business owner and property investor, Commissioner Guess and his wife Sandra Johnson Guess, a physician assistant, have been invested in Paducah with residential and commercial rental properties for approximately 30 years. He is the president, owner/operator of David Guess Heating and Air since 1992 and the president and co-owner of Hipp Property Group.
Commissioner Guess graduated from Murray State University in 1987 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and minor in biology.
