The Paducah Police Department announces the funeral procession route to honor Sergeant Ryan Hudson, who passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The community is respectfully invited to pay their final respects as the procession moves through the city on Saturday, August 23. Sgt. Hudson’s funeral starts at 11:00 AM. Following the funeral service at Heartland Worship Center, the procession will depart to Maplelawn Park Cemetery, passing by Sgt. Hudson’s memorial at the Paducah Police Department. The procession is expected to begin between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM.
The route is as follows:
- Depart Heartland Worship Center
- Turn left onto Alben Barkley Drive (US-62 W)
- Continue for 1.3 miles
- Turn left onto Lone Oak Road
- Continue north for 0.5 mile
- Turn right onto Broadway
- Continue east for 1.5 miles
- Turn left onto N 13th Street
- Continue west for 1 mile to the final destination
The public should expect temporary road closures and traffic delays along the route during the procession. The community is encouraged to gather along the route to honor Sgt Hudson. Flags, signs of support, and quiet tribute are welcomed as the procession passes.
