The road conditions due to the recent snowfall are hindering the normal garbage collection routes. The Paducah Public Works Department is asking residents to leave your garbage rollout at its designated collection point. Once the roadways improve, crews will work to collect all of this week’s routes including the routes that are inaccessible today and those that may be inaccessible tomorrow.
As a reminder for those who must travel during these extremely cold weather conditions, please review these safety tips.
- Share your travel plans with friends or family.
- Stay up-to-date on the weather forecast and road conditions.
- Pack an emergency supply kit that includes warm clothing, blankets, a flashlight, bottled water, food, jumper cables, and sand.
