311 Communications conducted a 311 app and online portal awareness campaign in 2023.
Finance To increase efficiencies, an ordinance was adopted in 2023 to require electronic payroll files for revenue.
Internal Communication The focus is increasing awareness and understanding of internal processes. A new internal process has been implemented for elected officials to meet with department directors who will provide updates on departmental activities.
Kick-Start Meetings During 2022, staff held 17 kick-start meetings to help launch projects. Twenty-four meetings were held in 2023.
Public Works - GPS on Solid Waste Trucks In 2023, the Public Works Department installed GPS software on the solid waste trucks to improve routing and efficiencies.
Technology Department City Manager’s Office worked with the Technology Department on re‐organizing the department and evaluating opportunities with the Chief Technology Director. Technology Department has implemented Microsoft 365 and GIS enhancements in 2023.
Software Upgrades The software team is prioritizing making online services available to customers. In 2022, the team launched the availability of viewing and paying property tax bills online with electronic permitting launched community-wide in 2023.
Website Upgraded the software and theme for the City's website with the new site launched in February 2023. Streamlined information and navigation to improve the user's experience. Communications continues to work with departments to make PDF forms fillable.
